Band Boosters
The Dripping Springs Band Booster (DSBB) organization is made up of parents and friends of the Dripping Springs High School band students. As a member of the DSBB, you are part of the award-winning Tiger Band program – the largest organization in the high school. Your donations help to defray the costs of keeping our highly successful band program competitive.

The Band Boosters provide financial assistance, helping to subsidize the costs of key items such as marching music and drill design, additional band technicians for marching, percussion and color guard assistance, props, equipment trailers and transportation, a music library, and scholarships for private lessons. It’s not all about money, however; the boosters also provide physical and moral support to our bands by moving equipment, chaperoning trips, cheering from the stands and much more.
Our band students compete in what is quite possibly the toughest area in the state for music, so it truly takes a village to be successful. Be sure to check out our Volunteer Opportunities section to learn more about how you can be involved.
Your Band Booster Board will host monthly membership meetings (usually the 2nd Monday of the month) -- Please check the calendar and newsletters for our 2025-2026 meeting dates. Please feel free to reach out to us because we always want to hear from you!

Joining band boosters is not all about what you can do for the band – it’s also about what being a booster can do for you! As one long-time band parent put it:
“Band Boosters is where I go to find out what’s really happening in band from a parent's point of view. I know I can ask ‘parent-to-parent’ questions such as ‘does it matter if we don’t wear white t-shirts to practice’ or ‘my child doesn’t have time to do his homework – how does yours get it done’?
Taking an active role as a band parent keeps me involved in my teenager’s life, and I’ve made some great friends along the way. The band kids are taught to ‘band together’, and the Band Boosters help parents connect through shared memories, volunteering, and helping the band.”
