Why pay for private lessons? Private lessons are essential if your child is to grow as a musician.

Every student can benefit from one-on-one instruction, improving their technique, and gaining knowledge of their instrument. Private lessons are optional, but students wishing the opportunity to excel on their instrument, to participate in the Region Band audition process or work towards UIL State Solo and Ensemble are highly encouraged to study privately. Because the bands are large, the directors are unable to provide significant individual help. 

The initial sign up for private lessons is at Registration, but depending on private teacher availability, sign up may be anytime throughout the year on a first come first served basis.
